District 1 officers responded to the 5500 block of S. Grand for reports of shots fired around 10:00pm on April 3, 2026.
When officers arrived in the area, they located a scene. A preliminary investigation reveals shots were fired at a vehicle, which fled the area.
Officers were notified of a 31-year-old woman who had been dropped off at a hospital seeking medical help after being shot. The woman is in critical but stable condition.
