PHOTOS: Woman Killed in Hit-and-Run on North Grand, Suspect Wanted

UPDATE: 4th District Detectives need help locating the unknown male suspect below who is wanted for this incident. He fled on foot from the pictured Infinity QX70 after parking the vehicle at a gas pump in the 3700 block of N. Grand after the hit-and-run.

The suspect is described as a black male, thin build, with a full beard and unknown/short hair. He was wearing a black baseball cap, a black t-shirt with a large red and white decal on the back, which is reminiscent of a stag skull with an unknown word spelled with the antlers, black shorts, white socks, and black, white, and red Jordan tennis shoes.

Accident Reconstruction is investigating a hit-and-run incident that left a woman dead on August 16 in the Jeff-Vander-Lou neighborhood.

At approximately 1:12 a.m., officers received a call to the 2500 block of North Grand for a report of a driver that hit a woman and left the scene. A preliminary investigation revealed the woman was crossing North Grand when the vehicle traveling north on Grand struck her and continued north.

EMS responded and transported the woman to the hospital where she was pronounced dead. The woman has been identified as 20-year-old Tori Dunn from the 2800 block of Gamble.

The striking vehicle was later found, unoccupied, in the 3700 block of North Grand.

This investigation is ongoing.
