District 4 is investigating a robbery that occurred on July 12 in the Downtown West neighborhood.
Shortly after 4:50 a.m., officers received a report of a “Hold Up” at 16th & Pine Streets. Upon arrival, they located a 44-year-old woman and a 45-year-old man who reported they were sitting in their car around 4:40 a.m. at the location when three unknown males approached. The victims stated the suspects announced a robbery while brandishing handguns and took the woman’s cell phone. The suspects fled after the incident.
No injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing.
