District 5 is investigating a robbery that occurred on August 29 in the Central West End neighborhood.
Around 5 a.m., officers received a call for police help in the 4300 block of Lindell Blvd. A 56-year-old woman reported that around 4 a.m., she was walking down a hallway with her groceries inside the Lindell Plaza Apartments when an unknown subject approached her from behind. The woman said the unknown person held a knife to her neck, reached into her pockets, and then took money the woman had in her pants pocket. The suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction after the incident.
