District 2 is investigating a robbery that happened on January 15 in the 2900 block of S. 59th Street.
A 36-year-old woman told officers a 34-year-old man, who she knows, responded to her home around 11:45 p.m. to collect money she owed him. Instead, the woman said the man took more money than owed and a debit card from her bedroom.
The woman said when she attempted to intervene, the man pointed a firearm at her. He then fled from the scene in a burgundy 4-door sedan.
The woman was not injured during the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
