District 3 is investigating a robbery that happened on January 15 in the 1400 block of Teresa.
A 22-year-old woman told officers she was sitting in her parked vehicle when she heard a tap on her window. At that point, she said she looked up and saw an unknown male suspect tapping on her window with a handgun. The woman said the suspect then ordered her out of her car, to which she complied.
The woman said the suspect robbed her of her money before running away from the scene. The woman was not injured. The investigation is ongoing.
