District 2 officers responded to a Shooting in the 3600 block of Winnebago around 3:15 p.m. on October 11.
A 32-year-old woman told officers she got into an argument with her ex-boyfriend, a 44-year-old man. The man pulled out a gun and shot the woman.
EMS took the woman to an area hospital where she was listed in stable condition.
The 44-year-old man is not in custody at this time.
The Domestic Abuse Response Team is handing this ongoing investigaiton.
