District 6 is investigating a shooting that injured a 30-year-old woman around 11:50 p.m. on February 10 near West Florissant & I-70.
The 30-year-old woman, a 29-year-old woman, and another 30-year-old woman all reported they were traveling together in their car east on West Florissant entering I-70 when they heard gunshots. They reported they didn’t see who was shooting.
One of the 30-year-old women was struck in her face by the gunfire. The other two were not injured. They responded to a nearby gas station in the 200 block of E. Grand and contacted police.
EMS responded and transported the 30-year-old woman to a hospital where she was listed in stable condition. The investigation is ongoing.
