District 6 detectives are investigating a shooting that left a 32-year-old woman injured on July 14 in The Greater Ville neighborhood.
Shortly before 6:15 p.m., officers received a shooting call in the 3900 block of N. 21st Street and located the woman who reported she had been shot earlier in the day around 4 p.m. The victim told officers she was in the 4400 block of Natural Bridge near Newstead when the occupant of a gold Lexus approached and fired shots. The victim was struck in her armpit. The victim further advised she believed the suspect, a male, was shooting at someone else during the incident.
