On October 18, 2025, just before 1:00AM, District 4 officers responded to the 1600 block of Biddle for a ShotSpotter call, that was almost immediately upgraded to a call for a shooting.
When officers arrived, they located a vehicle resting against a fire hydrant and a 25-year-old woman in the driver seat. The woman had been shot. She was barely conscious and barely breathing.
EMS responded and conveyed the woman to the hospital, where she was listed in critical-unstable condition, with death being imminent.
Homicide Detectives were requested and are handling the investigation.
