Homicide Detectives are investigating the shooting death of a woman that happened on October 22, 2025 in the Greater Ville neighborhood.
Just before 7:20 p.m., officers received a ShotSpotter call in the 4400 block of St. Louis Ave. Upon arriving at the scene, officers located an unidentified woman in her 30s in the alley suffering from a gunshot wound. EMS responded and pronounced the woman dead at the scene. An investigation into the circumstances of the incident remains underway.
