Homicide Detectives are investigating a shooting that left a woman dead on May 11, 2025 in the 4200 block of Maffitt Avenue.
At approximately 7:33 p.m., officers received a call for a shooting in the 4400 block of Maffitt. Upon arriving to the location, they found a woman inside a vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. EMS responded to the scene and pronounced the woman dead. She has been identified as 24-year-old Jorre Hadley of the 2700 block of Arsenal Street.
A shooting scene was located in the 4200 block of Maffitt. The investigation into the circumstances of the shooting remains ongoing.
