UPDATE: Man Dies in Downtown Highway Crash
On January 4, 2025 at 11pm, District 4 officers responded to a call for an accident on the entrance ramp for the Poplar Street Bridge from I-55 Northbound. When officers arrived, they located a vehicle that crashed into the back of a tractor trailer. The adult male driver of the vehicle was found unresponsive and died on scene.
