District 5 is investigating a shooting that left a 31-year-old man injured on July 8 in the Kingsway West neighborhood.

District 5 officers responded to an area hospital for a Shooting-Prior around 10:30 a.m. on July 5. A 63-year-old man was dropped off at the hospital with an apparent gunshot wound to his shoulder. He told officers he was shot in the 1600 block of N. Kingshighway. Officers located a scene at that location. The

District 5 officers responded to a call for a Shooting-Just Occurred, shortly after 7:00 p.m. on July 3, in the 5700 block of Natural Bridge. A 50-year-old man was found shot in the leg on the parking lot of a gas station. The man was uncooperative with officers and a scene could not be located.

A 17-year-old male was grazed by glass during a shooting that happened on July 1 in the Wells-Goodfellow neighborhood.
